The Legends of the West Rodeo in Wickenburg, Arizona, marked its 4th consecutive year in 2025. Held the first weekend of April, the PRCA sanctions the two rodeos as a part of the Turquoise Circuit. This rodeo series is dedicated to the legends of rodeo history in Wickenburg and is held in the Everett Bowman Rodeo Arena.

I found out about the annual Spicer Gripp Memorial Roping in Hereford, Texas from a viewer who said it was a high-quality competition with a mixture of invitational and open events for amateurs and professionals alike. That was a great suggestion and I am providing a few samples here of the action in the arena and on the grounds during the several days of competition held on the first weekend in August.

This rodeo is acclaimed to be the world's oldest and largest all-black rodeo. The town of Okmulgee is located south of Tulsa in eastern Oklahoma. I am just getting started publishing videos every Saturday from two nights of rodeo action. Those videos will also be embedded below after they are published on YouTube and/or the American Heartlands Channel on Rumble.

I documented as much as I could of The 1836 Chuckwagon Races 2022 held on the Diamond B Ranch near Neches, Texas. It was the tenth year of celebrating Texas's revolutionary history with workshops, demonstrations, trail rides, mounted games, mounted shooting, open pasture roping, bronc riding, barrel racing, horse racing, and yes, several classes of chuckwagon races.
